Dining in Annapolis

There is something truly special about dining in Annapolis, Maryland. Many of the restaurants offer waterfront dining. While there are other cities in the United States that offer waterfront dining, what makes Annapolis unique is that it never gets too crowded or cliquey. This is a small city with a down-to-Earth feel. Anyone will appreciate the atmosphere. The following three Annapolis restaurants have been selected because of the incredible customer feedback they have received.

The Chart House Restaurant offers beautiful waterfront views, as well as a combination of exotic and local cuisine. It’s also in a convenient location. The Chart House is within walking distance to downtown Annapolis and is also accessible by water taxi. If you happen to be traveling by car, you will be pleased to find plenty of parking. As far as dining goes, the Raw Bar at the Chart House Restaurant includes Crab, Avocado and Mango Steak, Seared Peppered Ahi Tuna, and the always-popular Shrimp Cocktail. Other popular selections are steak, lobster, and, of course, seafood.

Another great waterfront dining option in Annapolis is the Carrols Creek Café, which is right smack in the middle of the Annapolis City Marina. This means you will have an opportunity to watch sailboats, yachts, and other water adventurers make their way in to the dock. It’s a wonderful site that should not be missed. The Carrols Creek Café has been around since 1983. It’s known for its local seafood, as well as its steaks. And its most popular item is its award-winning Maryland Cream of Crab Soup. Bon Apetit has rated Carolls Creek Café as one of the best waterfront restaurants in America.

If you don’t need to be right on the water and would value an Irish dining experience, there is no better option than the Galway Bay Irish Pub. The staff is mostly from Ireland and the atmosphere will make you believe you somehow traveled overseas between walking inside and sitting down. At the Galway Bay Irish Pub, you will have an opportunity to choose from an Irish Mixed Grill, Shepherd’s Pie, and what the Washington Times has declared as the best corn beef and cabbage. And if you want to fit in, make sure you order a pint of Guinness. They’ll love you for it.

The Harp is located in the Perry Hall Shopping Center. It is an Irish pub and restaurant. They offer burgers, sandwiches, seafood, paninis, and irish entrees with daily specials.
